DND Services Ltd :: Project: Bentley "Brooklands" 1995 - Tom B

Project: Bentley "Brooklands" 1995 - Tom B

Tom B, operates a High Class Executive Private Hire and Chauffeur Company, and wanted something for his Corporate clients to watch in the rear of his vehicle. In addition, the ability to charge and operate a laptop computer in the rear was also essential. The other criteria that was given was that due to the type of vehicle, everything had to be colour coded, and not look out of place.

Headrest

The NecVox 5.6" Monitors were stripped apart and colour coded by using special plastic paint. I think that you will agree, these monitors just look like they belong there, and came factory fitted as standard.

Remote Control

In the Boot of the vehicle lies a 10 Disc DVD Player, that along with the monitors, is operated via remote control. The Magic Eye for the remote receiver has also been colour coded, and can just be seen above the pocket in the rear of the centre console.

Centre Armrest

The centre armrest of this car is fairly large and houses the mobile phone for the rear occupants. This also provides a very good connection point for a computer, not only for mains power, but also for a modem. This enables internet connection whilst on the move. Very Important for Corporate Clients.

Upside Down?

No, actually we intended to put the 240V Mains socket upside down. Think about it for a Minute.

A Laptop Computer power supply usually has a very bulky plug that hangs down from the socket, so by putting the socket upside down, they should all fit.

Multi-Media

The rear panel of the boot folds forward to reveal the Alpine CD Changer on the left, and the NecVox DVD Changer on the right.

Ready for Luggage

And this panel then folds back up to allow full use of the luggage compartment.
