Sony CD Player as fitted to the Ford Escort, Granada Scorpio and Orion.

This unit is powered by a seperate Ford Radio / Cassette which will have its own unique code number that must be entered before the Code can be entered into this CD Player.

Code entry is only possible when the four lines are flashing on the display. If the bars are not flashing, then the unit is codelocked and will have to be left switched on for up to two hours to reset. If the unit displays "10" then all of the attempts have been used up and the radio will have to be sent to us to be reset . We are able to decode and reset this CD Player if you send it to us. Please follow the simple procedure on the link below.

To remove the Radio simply insert the removal tools through the holes, push in until a click is felt, and then withdraw the Unit. The leads can then be unplugged. In mnay instances, it may prove easier to remove the Radio / Cassette first.

If you intend replacing this Stereo with an Aftermarket one, you may need the following:

PC2-08-4 Ford to ISO Adaptor Lead
PC5-27 ISO to DIN Aerial Adaptor Lead
FP-006 Universal DIN Pocket

Code Entry as Follows:
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" - - - - " Flashing
Press " AMS > " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press " SCAN " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press " PLAY/STOP " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press " <<REV " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press " SHUFFLE " to Enter
