Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to any and every part of the DND Services Ltd website, and by visiting this site you are agreeing to adhere to the following:

1.  Price & Payment Terms

1.1  The prices displayed include VAT at the current rate.
1.2  We reserve the right to adjust the price before delivery to reflect any unforeseen cost increases.
1.3  Payment of goods constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as outlined in this document.
1.4  Goods remain the property of DND Services Ltd until payment is received in full.
1.5  All Taxes will be applied at Source and VAT will be levied on all International Transactions from the Country of Origin (United Kingdom).

2.  Shipping

2.1  Goods will only be shipped once we are satisfied that payment has cleared.
2.2  We aim to ship goods within 5 working days
2.3  Our postal charges apply to UK Mainland only, Highlands and Islands will incur extra charges on heavy items. If you are outside of the Uk, Overseas, or outside Mainland UK, please ask us for a shipping quote before ordering.
2.4  We may deliver your order as part deliveries.
2.5  If you refuse delivery of the goods we may charge you for the cost of the delivery.
2.6  If you accept a delivery with a damaged box we cannot be held responsible for any damage to the contents inside once the goods have been signed for.
2.7  Acceptance of delivery constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as outlined.
2.8  For large orders a signature will be required by the carrier. If no one is available a card will be left and you will have to rearrange delivery with the depot within 3 working days. If the parcel is returned to us then you will have to pay for the parcel to be redelivered.
2.8  We try very hard to ensure that your ordered item will reach you in tip top condition, but unfortunately accidents do and will happen. If your Item has arrived damaged, please contact us by E-Mail within 48 hours of receipt of your item. Upon receipt of your damaged item, we will dispatch another to you without delay, and will even refund the charge of returning the original item to us providing a receipt for the postage charge is enclosed with your parcel. Please ensure that all original packaging is also returned with the item.

3. Code Numbers

3.1  We operate an Online decoding service on some models, and although we are successfull 99.9% of the time, there are a few instances on some radio`s where the codes may have been altered from their original Manufacturer derived number over the years and this service may not provide your own code number. This does not happen often, and if it does, we can manually reprogram your radio for an additional charge, but only if you send it to our workshop. Upon receipt of the radio and payment, we will credit any original monies spent for the previous Online Decoding service.

4.  Warranties

4.1  Our site has a mixture of New and Used items that are clearly marked. Only Brand New items that we sell come with a full 12 months manufacturers return to base warranty. In the unlikely event of a failure, please contact us immediately via E-Mail, as we may be able to solve your problems very easily. If you need to return the unit to us for inspection, please be aware that we are unable to cover any postal charges for the return of any damaged or faulty items. If an item is sent back to us, and proves not be under warranty, then you will be charged with a return courier fee and a small inspection charge.
4.2  Repair Warranties are limited to the parts and materials used to repair the original fault stated at the time of initial repair. Subsequent faults are not covered by any warranty but may be considered at the sole discretion of the management.
4.3  We do not accept any returns that are sent to us without prior consent or by C.O.D..
4.4  Items shown as Refurbished will have a warranty period indicated and will never exceed three months from date of invoice.

5.  Cancellations & Returns

5.1  We are bound by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations Act of 2000, but only when dealing with Brand New goods. The Consumer has a 7 day cooling off period. If you wish to return a Brand New item to us within 7 days, please note that it must be in 100% original, undamaged, unused, uninstalled, unfitted and unmarked condition with all of the original packaging fully intact with no rips or tears whatsoever. Any returns must be accompanied by the original invoice and a returns number. A returns number must be applied for within 7 days from date of invoice.
5.2  Refurbished Units will only be accepted for return at the managements discretion and are exempt from the above legislation.
5.3  Electronically sensitive modules and circuit boards will not be accepted for return.
5.4  Special orders or custom made parts will not be accepted for return.
5.5  We do not cover return postage
5.6  We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if any item is accepted back into stock.
5.7  If a brand new item purchased from us develops a fault within 30 days of receipt, please report it immediately. We will issue you a returns number and ask that the unit is returned to us Undamaged and Complete with all Packaging, Manuals, Accessories, and Supplied Leads Intact and Unaltered.
5.8  If a brand new item purchased from us develops a fault or is reported faulty after 30 days of receipt, the legal right to a Free Replacement or Refund ends, and the fault will be repaired under Warranty according to the manufacturers procedures. Although we do carry out our own repairs, in some instances we reserve the right to redirect you to one of the Manufacturers National Service Centres. This in no way affects your statutory rights and is simply a procedure that we have put in place in order to ensure a quality turnaround and a higher speed of service.
5.9  If the Item you have received appears to be Dead On Arrival, please get in touch with us immediately on 01803-391680 to report the fault. It may be that the Item is faulty, incompatible, or pilot error as you haven`t mastered how to use it. We will attempt to rectify your problem over the phone, or by E-Mail and if unsuccessful, then the item will need to be sent back to us for careful inspection prior to any replacements being dispatched. If any item is deemed not to be faulty, or shows any sign of misconnection, or misuse, then we reserve the right to charge an administration and return courier charge of £20. Please ensure that all leads / manuals and accessories are also enclosed. Please note that if the ISO leads on Radio`s are damaged or cut, then the unit will be treated as a chargeable repair.

6.  Refunds

6.1  If an item is returned in an acceptable condition then we will refund any outstanding money within the legislative 30 days less any charges.
6.2  Incorrectly supplied Radio Code numbers will not be refunded under any circumstances.
