Salt, fog and UV resistance
Clarions CMD6 main unit meets and exceeds the ASTM B117 and D4329 requirements for resistance to salt/fog and UV exposure. This unit features rubber gaskets and integrated drainage channels to keep water out, as well as corrosion resistant circuitry and chassis to safeguard against the effects of moisture.

Direct USB iPod control
The smart USB connection enables you to continue enjoying your favorite tunes offshore. Just connect your iPods USB cable to the CMD8s rear USB input and you get complete control of your iPod including genre/album/song title search, and you can even use your iPods control wheel (Simple control mode).

Rear AUX inputs
With a pair of AUX inputs on the rear panel, you can connect to other external audio sources and enjoy your favorite music.

BBE® MP for better sounding MP3/WMA/AAC files
The BBE MP (Minimised Polynomial Non-Linear Saturation) Process improves digitally compressed sound such as MP3/WMA/AAC by restoring the harmonics that are lost through compression, thereby reproducing the warmth, details and nuances that you would otherwise miss. BBE MP enhanced harmonics even serve to make regular CDs sound better.

4-channel audio pre-out for reproduction of sources with high sound quality. Together with adjustable crossover settings, the sound can be output to different speaker systems like Front 2 channels + Rear 2 channels or Subwoofer 2 channels.

This refurbished Marine radio is being sold as a direct like for like replacement for a faulty unit, and therefore does not come with any operating instructions or mounting accessories. This may also be suitable for fitment to other boats other than those shown, and we are happy to advise on any modifications or additional parts that may be required.

Our staff have been Manufacturer Trained and Certified by Clarion in Service and Repair techniques. This item has been refurbished by ourselves, and this will include the repair of any faults, replacement and adjustment of any worn parts, and any software reprogramming and updates where required. Please remember that these are refurbished units and not brand new, which means that although the front panel will be cleaned and polished, some very minor cosmetic marks may still be present.
